Shelf 1 · Passbook
Every rupee in and out, already sorted.
One passbook across all your bank accounts. Almirah reads the statements you download, sorts every entry into a category, sets aside transfers between your own accounts, and flags what needs a look.
What it reads
- HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank statements, as you download them from netbanking
- Several accounts, and several people in one household
- A simple template for any other bank (coming soon)
What you see
- Every entry with its category, and how it was sorted
- Transfers between your own accounts, matched and set aside
- A needs-a-look list for anything it isn't sure about
- Search, filters and notes. Fix one entry and the ones like it follow
Questions
Do I have to sort everything by hand?
No. Almirah sorts entries by rules and by the ones you have fixed before. An optional model on your computer can suggest the leftovers. You only check what it flags.
Does it need my netbanking password?
Never. You download statements yourself and keep them in Almirah's folder on your computer.
My bank isn't HDFC or ICICI.
